This course will explore how communication dynamics can lead in one direction or another, towards clear understanding or frustrating misunderstanding. Clear communication affects relationships, be they personal or family, business or political, leading openness and connection rather then confusion and frustration.

Resources will include selections from Tarthang Tulku Rinpoche’s Revelations of Mind, as well as extracts from thinkers such as Alain de Botton (In the Course of Love), Douglas Harding, (The Man with No Head); psychologists Marsha Linehan (cognitive behavioral), Diana Fosha (The Transforming Power of Affect), Harville Hendrix and Helen Hunt; and novelists Alexander McCall Smith (The Sunday Philosophy Club) and David Foster Wallace.

It is designed for those who wish to examine the dynamics of communication and relationships, from various perspectives.

Course Completion Certificates will be available to participants at the end of the course. A Course Evaluation form must be submitted prior to receiving a Course Completion Certificate. Breaks are not included in the total CEU hours available for this course.

Refund/Cancellation Policy: Payments are fully refundable up to two weeks before the course start date. If the cancellation occurs within two weeks prior to the course start date, there will be a 50% administrative fee deducted from the payment.
