NRA Basic Reloading Course & Instructor Development
This course block is an NRA Instructor Development Event to get you certified as an NRA Metallic Cartridge Instructor. This course block covers both the student and instructor courses required. Let us know if you have not had the NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) in the last couple years.
The course will cover reloading safety, case preparation, primer selection, powder, bullets, reloading equipment; and the use of manuals, ballistic tables, component assembly and supervised reloading of rifle and pistol cartridges. Course graduates will receive an NRA Course Certificate upon successful completion of the NRA test.
Instructor Candidates must complete the NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading course student examination with a score of 90% or better and perform pre-course assessments that demonstrate basic knowledge, skills and safe handling procedures for reloading metallic cartridges. The required Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading class will be held the previous day.
