Glorious Hope: Persevering Today In Light Of Tomorrow

Incredible hope of a glorious future - that’s what Jesus has promised us through his death and resurrection! At Thrive 2020, we’ll be talking about the hope Jesus gives us for tomorrow and how it impacts our life today. Join us for a day of worship, fellowship and time in God’s word, as we encourage one another to fix our eyes on Jesus and persevere in serving him through the highs and lows of our everyday lives.

Keynote Speaker

We are delighted to welcome Connie Main Duarte back to Thrive in 2020!

Connie serves as one of the pastors of Meeting Point, a small church in Estoril, Portugal and also coordinates a discipleship programme for staff and young graduates at GBU Portugal (an IFES student movement). Connie previously taught at the Baptist Theological Seminary in Portugal and continues to travel around Europe to speak at conferences. She is supported in these ministries by the Baptist General Conference of Canada.

Connie loves teaching and preaching and longs to see more young people using their gifts both in missions and the local church. She has a passion for integrated mission and community living. A bigger passion is her family: her husband João, and their two boys, Joshua and Caleb.
