Language sponsors the stories mind tells to make sense of our lives, and the abstractions and ratios mind uses to compare things. Short is ‘short’ in relation to tall; good is ‘good’ only in contrast to ‘bad’. We use so many words to build our world, yet clear and kind communication is rare. In this two-part course based on Lotus Language by Tarthang Tulku, we explore the key question: can we learn to communicate authentically with ourselves and others?
