Founded by Kelly Morgan in 2013, we are a West African Caribbean dance company located in South Bend, Indiana. UZIMA! has grown from a casual workout class to a flourishing dance company with a passion for its community. We have been fortunate to dance for the University of Notre Dame’s DeBartolo Performing Arts Center, Indiana University South Bend, the City of South Bend’s Art Beat, and more.​

Description: Saturdays at 9:30am, 8 weeks, 60 minutes.

Dance class with focus on rhythm, songs and culture, as well as dance choreographies performed in traditional West African dance.

Our company features diverse dancers, experienced in traditional African and Afro-Contemporary styles. We dance for events such as weddings, ceremonies, parties, graduations, and festivals. We are always open to accepting new dancers and looking for opportunities to share our work with the community. We would love to bring the celebration to your event or have you join us in the fun!
