Time for Toddlers- Community- Mondays 10:00am-11:30 am
Time for Toddlers is a mixed group of community families and children who receive early intervention services. Children range in ages between 18 and 36 months. Peer modeling is an excellent way to build skills in all areas. Your child will be stimulated through open play and structured activities.
Each week the group will focus on a theme using songs, books and art activities. We begin each morning with open play. This provides plenty of time for families to get settled and check in with other parents and facilitators. This time is useful for discussing development and building on social skills. Children will transition between songs, books and art activity related to the week’s theme. The group concludes with parachute play and props as we sing familiar songs. Parents are expected to participate in each activity with their child.
This group is facilitated by Liz Putnam, M.Ed., Developmental Specialist
