Plant Propagation Workshop

Plants are expensive to buy. Learn to propagate your own and find out how money can actually grow on trees. Be amazed at how easy and fun it is to grow your own plants.

I am continually amazed at how we can take a little tiny seed and grow it into a large, productive plant. Grafting fruit trees can become quite an obsession as you realise how easy it is to create your own orchard from small amounts of plant material.

Leaf, Root & Fruit now propagate most of the plants that go into our clients’ Edible Forest Gardens Come along to this exciting workshop to hear our trade secrets on how we plan, prepare and propagate plants on a small commercial scale. The focus for this workshop will be on fruiting plants, veggie seedlings and Edible Forest Garden understory plants.

This workshop, set in our Depot Classroom in Burwood will cover:

  • Basic principles of plant propagation
  • Efficiency & Labour considerations (for both domestic and commercial applications)
