This workshop series guides participants in healing rituals for use in everyday life, fostering a stronger connection with personal ancestors and one’s spirit guides.

In addition, the facilitator combines her expertise as a Western-trained psychologist to provide participants with practical steps towards healing.

Workshop I - Ancestral Healing

Learn practical steps to begin engaging in rituals to remember, acknowledge, pay tribute to, and gain information regarding your ancestors.

This session focuses on the the process of constructing a family tree and understanding patterns that impact your individual and family functioning.

Workshop II - Cleansing Rituals

Thursday | April 23, 2020 | | 10:00 am -11:00 am

Cleansing rituals are an ancient practice used in many indigenous healing traditions. This workshop will focus on methods of personal and physical space cleansing using multiple methods drawn from indigenous African healing traditions.

Workshop III - Abundance Meditation

Thursday | April 30, 2020 | 10:00 am -11:00 am

This workshop focuses on the use of meditation, visualization, and action rituals designed to increase opportunities for financial abundance. Participants will learn methods for addressing psychological barriers influencing their relationship with money and active rituals to create positive change.

This workshop is part of an ongoing process for each participant to positively change her or his relationship with money. It is not designed to provide prosperity schemes or quick fixes. Instead, it is part of a healing process designed to allow abundance to flow in each participant’s life.

Q: I have been to a previous session, will the information be the same?
A: No, the Rituals for Healing Series changes each session. The basic structure is the same. However, each session is based on a common theme, such as water, sound, or earth. Thus, you can attend each session and always learn something new.

The basic structure of series consists of three workshops:

1. Abundance Meditation
2. Ancestral Healing
3. Cleansing Rituals

Q: What are the qualifications of the presenter?
A: Dr. Ojelade is a licensed psychologist in addition to being initiated as an ancestral, Osun, and Ifa priestess.

Q: Will this be like a group therapy session?
A: No, the information is not designed to be psychological treatment. It is informational and designed to assist you in making choices about your own healing journey.

Q: If I attend a workshop, does this mean that Dr. Ojelade will become my psychologist?
A: Attending this session does not mean that Dr. Ojelade becomes your psychologist. If you need mental health treatment, call our front desk at 404-635-6021. Someone will be happy to provide you a referral.
