Letterpress & Printmaking Workshop

Line, texture and shape are explored here through letterpress and printmaking.

Lucy Guenot and Jane Sasanow have designed a course that will give you the opportunity of playing with text and image for single sheet book formats or single sheets which can be stitched together. They will explore the possibilities of mark making and texture through debossing, collagraphs and linocuts using our etching presses and relief press. There will be a simple introduction to basic type setting and printing.

Play with letter forms and text, handprinted as well as using our Vandercook proofing press. Your experiments will result in a completed artist book at the end of the weekend. This course is suitable for all abilities.

Terms and Conditions:

Bookings are only confirmed on receipt of the full cost of the course. If full payment is not made, you will not be allowed to start the course.

Cancellation Policy:

The sum of £50, will be lost If you cancel at short notice (less than 2 weeks before the course start). If your place cannot be filled, no monies will be returned.
