Pre-licensing course (online M/W/F schedule)

NOTE: This course, including the course exam, will be facilitated entirely online using the Zoom distance learning platform. Each student must have access to a computer, webcam, microphone and reliable broadband internet connection in order to participate and complete this course. Each enrolled student will be emailed a link to the virtual classroom and their student materials the day before the course begins.

The textbook may be ordered with your enrollment form and picked up at either our Raleigh or Cary location, or, ordered separately through the publisher and it will be shipped to you. If ordering separately, search for the title, Modern Real Estate Practice in North Carolina, 10th edition, in our Online Bookstore. A paperback copy can be shipped to you or you may purchase the e-book for immediate access. Students have found the supplemental book, Guide to Passing the PSI Exam, 8th edition, also helpful.

This course meets online each Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 9:00 - 2:30, beginning February 1, 2021. Breaks, including a lunch break, will be included.
Students must attend at least 80% of all scheduled hours or lose eligibility to take the state licensing exam.

The Broker Pre-licensing course is where all agents in North Carolina start. This course meets the standards established by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission for qualifying to take the NC real estate broker license exam. Topics studied include North Carolina license law, contracts and closings, agency relationships, property ownership, and land use control among many other pertinent topics. We don’t believe in stuffy classrooms with boring lecture. Go School will use class lecture, assigned homework, group work, role play demonstrations, and cutting-edge technology to enhance the experience for adult learners. And, our instructors are some of the most passionate people we know in the real estate industry. The course is not easy, but our instructors will provide you with all the information, tools, resources, and materials that you need to pass the real estate broker license exam and launch your real estate career. Be prepared to commit a minimum of 10 to 15 hours per week studying outside the classroom to best prepare you for successfully passing this course.

Please note that this course will consist of a minimum of 75 instructional hours plus 3.5 hours for the end-of-course exam. The schedule may be extended should unforeseen circumstances occur (i.e. the instructor becomes ill or weather conditions causes school closure). Students may not be absent more than 15 instructional hours (or, 80% of total instruction hours) to be eligible to take the end-of-course exam and complete the course.
