Fused Glass Mandala Workshop
Make a geometric fused glass suncatcher.
Mandala is Sanskrit for “circle.” Basically mandalas are a circles contained within a square and arranged into sections that radiate out symmetrically from a unifying center. Your piece won’t be a circle, but the shapes will start at the center using a variety of pre-cut glass squares to create your symmetrical design. To be fused in a kiln, all the glass pieces have to touch or overlap. It’s fun and tricky. You’ll assemble your design, and we’ll fire it in the kiln overnight, ready to be picked up the next day.
Masks are required.
All workshops are held at Main Exhibit Gallery’s
fully-accessible Art Center located at the
lower level rear of the building at 301 West Main Street, Ligonier, PA.
