Think and Ink Workshop
Experience the unique medium of ink in both brush and pen form while creating a bold floral design!
I’m so excited to be able to feature artist Grace Maust’s work here and you will be able to join us for an Ink Workshop where you will create a bold floral drawing/painting.
Experience this unique medium in both brush and pen form. Learn how to create line variation and why that’s so important. How do you create textures, patterns, shaded, and highlighted effects? By hatching, cross-hatching, and stippling of course! These techniques will be covered as well. Use contrast to make your flowers pop and if you want more than black and white, you’ll also learn how to use an accent color to accentuate your focal point.
By the end of this class, you should feel more comfortable working with ink and will know whether you prefer using brushes, pens, or a combination of both. The best part is that you’ll receive guided direction but each finished drawing will end up unique to your style.
This is a virtual event in which you will be sent an invitation to the Zoom meeting prior to the start of class on March 14th.
