Post-Licensing 303: NC License Law, Rules & Legal Concepts (online M-Th evening schedule)

Course Facilitation Method:
- Live, online via the Zoom platform during the scheduled dates/times.
- Participants will need to have access to a computer, webcam, microphone and reliable internet connection.
- A link to the virtual classroom and student materials will be emailed to each enrolled student the day before the class begins.
Textbook:
- NC Real Estate Manual is required for use during all three post-licensing courses.
- Order the textbook with your enrollment form and arrange for pickup at our Raleigh/Cary/Charlotte location.
- For shipping options, order directly from the NCREC website under the Publications menu.
- An e-book subscription is also available via the NCREC.
Schedule:
- Review the Dates Breakdown section above for complete schedule details.
- This course will meet online Monday through Thursday, 5:30 - 9:30, for a total of 8 class sessions. The last day will conclude at 7:30PM
Attendance:
- Per NCREC rules, participants must attend at least 90% of this 30-hour course in order to receive course completion credit.
- Students missing more than 3 hours are ineligible for course completion credit.
- Time missed cannot be made up.
Cancellation:
- Students needing to withdraw their enrollment must do so 48-hours prior to the course start date in order to receive a refund.
- A $75 cancellation fee will apply.
- Students may transfer their enrollment to a future course rather than cancelling. Any difference in the tuition fee may be owed.
- Go School reserves the right to cancel an upcoming course due to instructor availability or low enrollment. In such cases a full refund is issued to the student or the student may also transfer their enrollment to a future course.

- On your enrollment form you’ll have the opportunity to enroll in this single post-licensing course, or, select the three course package for a considerable discount if you need to enroll in all three post-licensing courses.
Course Description:
The Post 303 - NC Law, Rules, and Legal Concepts course is one of the three 30-instructional hour courses in the North Carolina mandatory Post-licensing education program. At least one course must be completed annually by North Carolina provisional brokers within three (3) years after initial licensure to remain eligible for active license status. The primary objective of the course is to provide instruction at a level beyond that provided in pre-licensing courses on topics deemed to be of special importance. Topics addressed in this course include:
- general North Carolina licensing requirements
- brokerage compensation issues
- the disciplinary process
- specialized types of real estate
- property management in NC
- and miscellaneous NC laws and legal concepts.
