Minecraft U

Before we venture out we should study those who went before us. These lessons will help us understand the how and why of modern computing by learning about its past. Every day we will study a different era of computer science, leading right up to the creation of the Ruby language itself.

This will also inspire us as we conjure ideas for our Week 4 projects.

This camp can be taken on its own with no prior experience with programming.

Computer Adventures is a camp for older Minecraft U campers who have moved on from our ComputerCraft and Java/modding curriculum and are ready to venture out into the larger world of what can be done with code. Camp sessions are one hour long, and it will involve daily homework of about one hour.
