Sustaining Best Practice for School Wellbeing Coordinators/Leadership roles addressing Wellbeing. Leaders of School Wellbeing include Principals, Deputy Principals, Heads of House, Year Level Coordinators, Sub School leaders.

This Sustaining Best Practice training is the third and final level of three levels of training to build the capacity and capability of school staff undertaking the Wellbeing role. It is recommended that participants have completed the Essential Basics and Consolidating Practices trainings as core concepts, knowledge and skills are further built upon in this training.

Effectively resource and sustainably address the Wellbeing needs of students and lead the wellbeing work in your school using evidence-informed best practice. Build a school community that understands why wellbeing is a vital part of school core business. Guide your school wellbeing practice against benchmarked standards. Knowing your boundaries and legal obligations. This training will deeply explore and embed the following concepts, tools and processes in your professional practice: The evidence for sustaining wellbeing best practice; Strengths and challenges in the Wellbeing role; Educating your school community with the evidence; Tools and resources to help you work more effectively and efficiently and utilize best practice; Building strong networks of support around you both in and out of school. 

PLEASE NOTE: IN THE EVENT A COVID LOCKDOWN IMPACTS THE DELIVERY OF THIS TRAINING IN A FACE-TO-FACE SETTING, THIS TRAINING WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLINE ON THE SAME DATE/TIME.
