Sustaining best practice for Leaders of School Wellbeing/Student Wellbeing Coordinators. Leaders of School Wellbeing include Principals, Deputy Principals, Heads of House, Year Level leaders and sub school leaders.

Sustaining Best Practices Training is recommended for everyone who undertakes a wellbeing role in schools. WISA recommends you commence with the Essential Basic Training (Level 1) and then Consolidating Wellbeing Practices Training (Level 2) which builds upon and further consolidates and deepens the learning, skills, knowledge and resources. This training is Level 3 the third and final level of training.

This training will address the following: Effectively resourcing and sustainably addressing the Wellbeing needs of students and leading the wellbeing work in your school using evidence informed best practice; Building a school community that understands why wellbeing is a vital part of school core business; Guiding your school wellbeing practices against bench-marked standards; and knowing your boundaries and legal obligations. This training will also deeply explore and embed the following concepts, tools and processes in your professional practice: The evidence for sustaining wellbeing best practice; Strengths and challenges in the Wellbeing role; Educating your school community with the evidence; Tools and resources to help you work more effectively, efficiently and utilize best practice; Building strong networks of support around you both in and out of school.
