BUILD (NSW) 2022
BUILD is CCCAust(NSW)’s annual Men's conference which usually occurs in March of each year. Held at CCC Central Coast over a weekend, we arrange passionate and engaging speakers who share the gospel with men from all over NSW.
Men love to build. The question is how do you build a life that will be truly worth while and stand the test of time. What does a life built for God actually look like and how do Aussie blokes go about doing that? Our BUILD conference is a great opportunity to hear those answers from quality speakers.
Over the past couple of years, the COVID-19 pandemic has meant we have seen times of uncertainty and confusion. It can be hard to stand firm in God’s assurance when we face these situations. BUILD 2022’s theme is Standing Strong in a Shifting World, focusing specifically on 2 Timothy.
Join Malcolm Gill and Roy Gomez as they share how us as men can grow, guard and be disciplined in the Gospel, and how this can be expressed in our Christian walk.
Malcolm Gill currently serves as an Associate Minister at St Andrew’s Cathedral in the heart of Sydney. Prior to serving as a pastor Malcolm spent 15 years in theological education teaching at SMBC and Dallas Theological Seminary (USA). He enjoys watching sport, trips to the beach and eating mangos. Malcolm is married to Tamara and they have three lively teenage children.
Roy Gomez has been serving in pastoral ministry at Allawah Community Church for around 10 years. He loves to study, teach and preach the Word of God and also loves seeing lives transformed by the power of the gospel. He studied at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Argentina and then completed a BTh at SMBC, but his life-long dream would be to do some further study at The Master’s Seminary one day! He has been married to Maru for more than 20 years and they have two kids together (Toby & Mia), who, let’s just say, keep them humble and trusting in the Lord’s sovereignty!
