The Choir Company

This is for the Grade School Choir class which meets on Fridays at 11:00 AM for one hour, beginning on August 19, 2022.

Grade School Choir is a choral music performance class for students in grades 1 through 3. In this class we will be learning to read and sing unison/2 part music through fun and engaging activities, games, and exercises. The class will include ear training, notation reading, and vocal instruction. We will perform before Christmas and again in the spring. Outside public performance dates will be announced at the first session; attendance at all public performances is REQUIRED.

The Friday class will meet in Skiatook on Fridays from August 19, 2022 to April 28, 2023. Additional rehearsals will be scheduled as needed leading up to performance dates.

​The supply fee ($30 each semester) covers choral print music and accompaniment tracks, music binder, rehearsal aides and CD’s, website upkeep, limited solo accompaniment tracks, and performance venue charges. For Fall 2022 enrollment, the supply fee is due by July 1, 2022. For the Spring 2023 semester, the supply fee is due by January 9, 2023.

​Additional costs include (but are not limited to): Choir T-Shirt and Choir Social events. The costs associated with these extra events will be posted as soon as practical.

​NOTE: There is a facilities usage/liability insurance fee per family (not per student) in addition to the costs described above. Each family is required to pay approximately $60 (amount set each year by The Group and Friday Friends coops) for the entire 2022-2023 school year. This fee covers involvement at either or both locations.

​The tuition fee for EACH semester (Fall 2022 and Spring 2023) is $70 per student per semester. The balance should be paid in full by the last day of class each semester.

​Discount for families with more than one student enrolled:
1st student: $70.00 per semester
2nd student: $52.50 per semester (a 25% discount for the second student)
3rd+ students: $35.00 per semester (a 50% discount for the third student and beyond)
No discount on supply fees.
