Part Two of the Mary Magdalene course will continue an exploration of Cynthia Bourgeault’s The Meaning of Mary Magdalene.The second part of the book considers Mary as the beloved. Was her relationship with Jesus that of fellow apostle, lover, wife, or soulmate? The third part of the book considers Mary Magdalene as the unitive wisdom. What is our relationship with Mary today? What is her message for us? 

We will also do a lectio divina using the Gospel of Mary Magdalene and experience using The Friendly Quaker 5 questions as we examine some of the text of the Gospel. New students will be accepted.  

We will also take a virtual trip to Provence, France to learn the stories of Mary Magdalene and her companions after they escaped persecution in Egypt.

New students will be accepted. Two review sessions will be offered before the course begins to. provide the necessary background.
