Hands-on.

Vietnam is an interesting mix of delightful asian cuisine and the influnece of French settlers. The country is also very long and the cuiseine changes from the North to the South. This class explores many of the flavours to be found across the country.

Cancellations: We prepare for our classes several days in advance. If you are unable to make it to the class you have booked please give us plenty of notice. If the cancellation is recieved more than two days before the class you will be offered a gift voucher to use at a later date. If the cancellation is recieved less than two days before the class, we will use our best endeavours to find another person to take your place, if we cannot find a replacement we will be unable to offer a refund or a gift voucher.

Minimum numbers: We endeavour to fill our cooking classes, however if we do not have four people wanting to attend a class we may choose to reschedule the class to another date. You will be offered a full refund or a gift voucher if the new date does not suit.

Now THAT was a fantastic session! Rob was so informative and professional. He answered all questions, added tips and informed us where to get the ingredients that he uses. We both left full, happy and full of enthusiasm to try these recipes at home and then look for others.

This class totally exceeded our expectations! Hugo and Belinda greeted us with a choice of drink (bubbles for me, of course!) and we were seated to watch our charming and instructive chef, Rob, demonstrate the dishes we’d be making ourselves an hour later. It was a well-paced, informative and entertaining lesson, with plenty of useful tips for everyday cooking. It was great fun to have a go ourselves at recreating Rob’s culinary masterpieces. The actual prep and cooking was well organised with everything ready to go to make two dishes over the next hour. It was a pretty manic hour for me as I’m not particularly gifted in the kitchen, but still it was simple to follow the steps laid out and we had success. Afterwards, all the novice chefs joined at two large dining tables to enjoy the fruits of our labour, as well as some specially prepared dishes from Rob. Good company and beautiful food… the day was great value for money. Special thanks to Seb who came in on a Sunday to wash all our dishes!

Really enjoyed this session. The food was delicious and the staff were very accommodating. Enjoyed eating while we were shown what we were making and the dessert finished the afternoon off beautifully. Definitely would love to go again and will be recommending it to others.
