The Myra Hayward Marion Scholarship will be offered each semester to members of the People Program. After her retirement from teaching and serving as a visiting teacher in the New Orleans Public Schools, she enjoyed participating in People Program classes in the late 1970s. The scholarship is intended to assist members who are interested in enrolling for the semester, but who are experiencing financial challenges. One scholarship will be awarded each semester.
