OVERVIEW

Every student has something to learn and something to teach. This interactive workshop will focus on high-leverage inclusive practices to engage ALL learners in our inclusive classrooms. Inclusive Principles such as creating a positive classroom community, utilizing differentiated instruction, increasing access to content by activating background knowledge, and planning using a multi-sensory instructional approach are four of the principles we explore to increase the achievement of students with disabilities.  Teachers will discover Savanna’s TOP Inclusion principles and gather practical strategies to engage and accelerate student achievement.
