The Office of the Provost invites applications for the 2022 Mid-Career Faculty Summit at the University of Richmond.

• communicate career strengths and areas for growth, 
• articulate professional contribution, 
• identify needs and sources of support to advance professional (and personal) goals, 
• begin to design short- and long-term goals, with corresponding action steps, and 
• contribute in meaningful ways to professional advancement and to diverse stakeholder groups (department, institution, community, family, others) 

The Summit has two connected sessions- the application is for participation in both sessions: Friday November 11 from 11:45 am - 3:30 pm and Wednesday, December 7 from 11 am to 3:30 pm.

A working lunch (provided) will occur at 11:45-12:30 on November 11 and at 12-12:30 on December 7. Your application is for both sessions as the Summit has two interconnected parts to address all of the goals listed above.

First round applications were due by Monday, October 03, 2022 at 5 pm. Applications are still open as long as space remains.

Please complete all parts of the application. Once you submit your application, you will receive an email with a link to a brief survey that will help us better tailor the Summit to faculty needs. The survey is anonymous and will not be linked to this application form. If you have questions, please contact Linda Boland, Associate Provost for Faculty at lboland@richmond.edu or x 8571 on campus.

Note:  If we reach capacity, we may defer some applications until the next Summit. If you are unable to attend the entire event or capacity limits are reached for this year’s Summit, we hope you will be able to participate in a future year.
