Expressive Arts for Wahine

A Self Care Arts Group for Wahine

We have created a gentle creative space for mothers of young children to connect and use the arts to explore empowering themes around self care, roles, boundaries and supports. This 5-week strength based programme uses creative activity and art therapy techniques to enhance wellbeing, explore elements of character, goals, hopes, resources, challenges and problem solving. To explore connection, self expression and reflection as a wahine. Put more simply, the idea of participating in this course is to reduce your worries, take time for yourself, create feelings of relaxation and connect with other mums from our community.
