Wordcraft presents WriteNow, a 6 week writing course created with love by Wordcraft Mamma and Australian Poetry Slam Champion, Ren Alessandra.

WriteNow is for the writer who is ready to experiment, expand and explore their craft. While the heart of this course has been moulded around nurturing the aspiring writer, there is something to gain for writers of every level.

Over the 6 weeks, you will engage with play, experimentation and exploration as a way of unlocking a level of your relationship with your writing and deepen your connection with likeminded creatives. You will have opportunities to share, receive feedback, workshop and perform your art.

You will develop a repertoire of strategies, access points, thought processes and more that aim to transform the way you think, write and show up on stage. You will learn to give yourself permission, create from any place and strengthen your trust in your writing and your voice.

Wordcraft WriteNow students will be invited to curate a 10 minute mini set for their creations at Wordcraft Spoken Word's special WriteNow Showcase on Friday April 23rd 2023. By the time this date comes around, we can guarantee you will be aching to take the opportunity and show up for yourself in this mighty way.

If you are aching for connection and creativity, join Wordcraft's WriteNow, for a playful and accountable learning experience that will guide you from the page, to the stage and beyond.

Wordcraft acknowledges our practice on stolen Wurundjeri land and pays our respects to all elders. We thank them for the origin of spoken word and for everything we are yet to learn.
