This class will make anyone feel comfortable and empowered to wield pencil and brush in the pursuit of personal expression. The instructor will guide you through the basics of the medium and inspire you to cast off fear and hesitation. She has an enthusiasm for the medium and individual instruction. Students should all bring a 6"X9" or 8"X12" sketchbook, a #2 pencil, a Pink eraser and an apron to the first class.  If you already have some oils materials bring them with you to the first class. If you already have experience with oils, you don't have to be a beginner. The instructor will take you from where you are at guiding you from compsition and underpainting through to the final glazing. There is always more to learn and the instructor will be bringing new ideas and experiences back with her from an extended painting exchange in Italy over the holidays.
