Compass Arts Spring Showcase

at The Yard, 4 Hanna Lane in Beacon

Our biggest event of the year! Join Compass Arts as we celebrate the students, families, and artists who enable us to grow and thrive. This outdoor community festival will feature plays, improv and dance performances from our students; a gallery of work by our young artists; and a full performance from the Beacon Rising Choir. Parents can hang out with their little ones at the Elements Clubhouse, a play and sensory space, or play yard games provided by LNJ Tech. And we'll have food trucks (No. 7 Sandwich Hub, back by popular demand, and The Vegan Stuff ice cream) and a bake sale for everyone to enjoy. Come be part of the magic!

WHEN: May 6 and 7, 12:30-6:00
WHERE: The Yard, 4 Hanna Lane, Beacon NY 12508
TICKETS: $15 for one day, $25 for both days, $5 for kids 5 to 15 (or $8 for kids for both days)
Free for students currently enrolled in a spring Compass Arts class

Advance ticket sales will close on Friday, May 5 at 3pm. Tickets will be available at the door for $20 on the days of the event.

SCHEDULE (the same each day):
- 12:30 Doors open!
- 1:30-2:30 Dance and improv theater performances from Modern I, Dance Makers, Theater Explorers and Imagination Playhouse
- 3:30-4:30 Original short plays from Theater Crafters & Young People's Performance Company, plus TCD Improv
- 5:00-6:00 Beacon Rising Choir
- ALL DAY: art gallery featuring Compass Arts students, food trucks, the Elements Clubhouse (art and sensory play for little ones), yard games, bake sale and merch table
