Mary Magdalene, Part III
The course will last for 10 sessions and is open to those students who have taken Part II.
We will continue our exploration of Cynthia Bourgeault’s The Meaning of Mary Magdalene.
In addition, we will explore the oral history of Mary Magdalene in France, the “Song of Songs”, Mary Magdalene during the Middle Ages and her catalytic influence on modern times.
We will experience the practices of lectio devina, and visio divina. We will study The Gospel of Mary and The Gospel of the Beloved Companion using the Friendly Quaker question methodology.
