Transform thrift store treasures! Renew! Re-envision! Design! This hands on, supportive and fun workshop week will give young designers the opportunity to experiment in the creative world of upcycling. Participants MUST be self motivated and independent workers with sewing and crafting experience. Participants are expected to come to the workshop with thrift store items they plan to upcycle!
Culminating in… the young designers’ participation in our Lovely Things - Pop Up Vintage and UpCycle Shop at Discover Creative Arts, where designers will have the opportunity to curate, display, market and sell their creations!
Sat. July 15, 10am-4pm. DCA, Townsite Public Market during the fantastic Townsite Street Festival!
