Designing Instruction for Student Success

In this lightning session, you’ll get three mini-workshops in one, all on the topic of instructional design. Topics will include transparent assignments, backwards design, and structuring for inclusion

What is a lightning session? It’s a bit like speed dating for teaching ideas! We’ll have three tables, each for discussion of a topic. Participants will spend roughly 15 minutes at each table, and then rotate to the next one. By the end, you’ll have all sorts of inspiration, and you’ll be able to share your best ideas with your colleagues.

This lightning session will be offered on Wednesday, August 23 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. in the Faculty Hub. If you’d like to join us for lunch after the session (from 1-1:30pm), please let us know when you register!

Can't make this session?

We will offer a repeat of this lightning session on Thursday, August 24 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in the Faculty Hub with an optional lunch offering before the session. Register for Thursday session here.
