Bring in scrap gold and create a band ring! Learn and practice the process of turning old gold into an ingot and rolling it out into usable metal wire. Gold can be of any karat or color and can come from old rings, earrings, chains or even tooth fillings! Make sure your old jewelry is stamped with 10k, 14k or 18k. No other scrap jewelry will be acceptable for this class. Basic gold alloying, karating, and soldering will be covered.
