With thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund and players of The National Lottery we are delighted to be offering FREE social & activity sessions for older people living in and around Chester Le Street.

The group will take place once per month at Pelton Community Centre on the first Friday of the month (from 3rd January 2025) from 1-3 pm where we will be doing a variety of activities with something different each month.

These include:

Crafting sessions
Wellbeing Activities
Food based Activities

Everything you need will be provided, so you just need to turn up, carers or a friend / family member to support is also welcome to come along to support the participation of the attendee.

The aim of the sessions is for the attendees to feel more connected to each other and the community, we will offer signposting to other services that members can access at the sessions when appropriate.

To be able to come along and take part the funding criteria requires:

Over 60's living in the Chester le Street area.

Experiencing isolation or loneliness, bereavement, living along or caring for someone else.

We appreciate someone else may be booking this on the attendee's behalf, so please fill their details in and if they don't have an email address please provide yours for communication purposes.
