If you would like to attend our October session and find out more about our group you can book a guest place here.

It’s £19.50 to book a guest space, after payment you will receive a confirmation email, please make sure you get a copy of the confirmation just so you know that the payment and booking has gone through successfully. If you register within 24 hours of the event your name may not appear on the register, please bring a copy of your registration.

Join the wonderfully talented Hayley from Litterbugs for a relaxing and inspiring introduction to the fascinating Japanese art of Kinusaiga – often described as patchwork without sewing.

Using a selection of gorgeous fabrics, you’ll create your own unique piece of textile artwork by gently tucking fabric into a pre-cut design. There’s no stitching involved, making this a wonderfully mindful craft that’s surprisingly easy to learn and incredibly satisfying to complete.

Whether you’re drawn to colourful geometric designs, hearts, flowers or beautiful landscapes, Hayley will guide you step by step, sharing tips and techniques to help you create a piece you’ll be proud to display at home or give as a thoughtful handmade gift.

All materials are provided, along with a fantastic choice of fabrics to suit every style. No previous experience is needed – just come along, relax, enjoy a cuppa and discover a craft that is both calming and addictive.

As always, our workshops are about so much more than making something beautiful. They’re an opportunity to spend a couple of hours in great company, chat with like-minded people and enjoy some creative time just for you.

Our session includes tea and coffee, it would be great if you could bring along cake or something sweet to share with members for our cake table.

At Pimm’s and Needles we offer fantastic, practical and hands-on monthly sessions covering a wide range of topics including food, health and wellbeing, arts, crafts and lots more! We now operate 30 groups at various locations around County Durham, Teesside and North Yorkshire. Our monthly membership is available for £15.00 per month this fee covers materials and equipment costs.
