Making a Pie Basket

We will be building a basket that you can use to carry pies or cakes or for picking your veggies and fruit. You will learn how to construct the base of the basket, put a rim on, and carve a handle. We will do this all in 5 hours and you will go home with a basket you made yourself. Students should bring a ruler, scissors, and a jack knife for carving. Teens welcome. Materials included.
