Students will learn:
- What makes up a drum set
- Proper posture
- How to properly hold drum sticks
- How to protect your ears
- How to count & keep time
- How to tune
- Proper drum technique
- Basic drum beats & fills
- Basic snare drum “Rudiments” (*there are 40 total)
- Basics needed to play with other musicians in a live music setting
