Explore Beginners Pottery on the Wheel with Amy Roadman, Six Tuesday evenings 6-8:30 beginning January 5, 2021.

Perfect beginners wheel class that includes demonstration and hands-on instruction. In the six sessions, Amy will cover centering on the wheel and basic throwing techniques: how to make cups, bowls and other vessels, how to alter thrown pieces, and make and attach handles. Those with some experience will also benefit from review of techniques. This is strictly a pottery wheel class. Slab work will not be explored in this class. We feel it takes several sessions to grasp the art of throwing and centering.
A separate class will cover basic glazing of your fired pots. Registration includes all materials you will need for class, one bisque firing and one glaze firing. Classes are limited to 6 students, ensuring a high level of individual attention, and are reserved on a first-paid basis. Sorry, we cannot refund money once you have started the classes.
