Day 1: Effective Mentoring and Coaching NASBTT (NASBTT Level 1 Qualification)
Suitable for mentors in primary.
Free for mentors of Tommy Flowers SCITT trainees in September 2021
All other mentors (e.g. NQT/ECF) - £40 per delegate per day
High quality mentoring is a priority for all schools as they prepare for the new Early Career Framework. These two Teacher Educator Programmes, created by the National Association of School Based Teacher Trainers (NASBTT) and delivered by The Tommy Flowers SCITT lead to nationally recognised qualifications and are suitable for mentors of trainee teachers or NQTs in primary or secondary schools.
Day 1: Effective Mentoring and Coaching (14 July 8:45-16:30)
This programme to mentoring and coaching is aimed at new and aspiring mentors and coaches. The modules, which have been designed by NASBTT, are tailor-made for colleagues working in school settings. Day 1 leads to a nationally recognised Level 1 Qualification in Effective Mentoring and Coaching.

Day 2: Instructional Coaching (15 July 8:45-16:30)
Instructional coaching is a model of teacher development which bridges the concepts of mentoring and coaching and which guides novice teachers through a series of expertly designed steps to improving their practice. This course is perfect for School Mentors or Professional Tutors of ITT trainees or Early Career Teachers and leads to a nationally recognised Level 2 Qualification in Instructional Coaching.
Lunch and refreshments are included.

This is a face-to-face training session subject to Covid regulations.
