PA4 Safe Application of Pelleted Or Granular Pesticides Using Mounted Or Trailed Applicators
This course is designed for all those involved in operating and maintaining pelleted or granular pesticides. Delegates should have attended the PA1 course.
1 day training course to cover PA4S & PA4G, followed by Independent assessment on a separate day, the practical assessment is approximately 2-3 hours. Certification upon successful completion is NPTC City & Guilds
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
• Know the legislative and safety regulations relating to the application of pelleted or granular pesticides
• Be able to assess the environmental factors relating to the application site
• Be able to read and interpret product information
• Be able to prepare and calibrate the application equipment
• Be able to operate the application equipment
• Know how to carry out post-operational procedures
