HCC Lifelong Learning

John Philip Sousa visited Freeport on six occasions with his world-famous Sousa Band between 1897 and 1928. This class will offer students a review of these concerts, with a special emphasis on the "March King's" last performance at the Masonic Temple Building in Freeport. Sponsored by The Masonic Temple and an HCC History Alumnus.

**Dr. Thompson Brandt has devoted his career to higher education. He has taught a wide variety of graduate and undergraduate classes for nearly fifty years. Dr. Brandt is a regional authority on John Philip Sousa and the Sousa Band.
