Painting Famous Artworks in Acrylics
In this 6 session class, we will use acrylic paint to reproduce sections or pieces of famous artworks. Students will explore various acrylic painting techniques to achieve the unique styles and effects that famous painters used to create their masterpieces. We will study works like the Great Wave off Kanafawa by Hokusai and practice using a limited palette and creating lines. Some pieces will carryover into the next week.
Students must be at least 8 years old to take this class; painting experience is not required but helpful.
We welcome all aspiring artists of all ages and abilities. However, if your child requires additional assistance or needs individualized attention, please call the studio before you enroll your child in group lessons. Thank you.
