Material fee All materials will be provided, but there is a $25 materials fee due at the first class to cover costs for yarn and handouts.

Description
Want a fun new twist on overshot? Try using it as inlay ! During this class we will learn how to use overshot to create areas of texture and interest in a woven piece. Over two weeks students will weave a small table runner or wall hanging featuring overshot inlay as a design element. The goal is to have fun trying out a new technique and experimenting with different colors and textures.
Prerequisites for participants:
You don’t have to be familiar with overshot as a woven structure. We will go over the basics of how to weave this fun family of drafts. However, you do need to be able to warp a floor loom and know how to read a draft.
