Location: In-person class begins on August 31st at 1:00 in Room #3 at the Triangle Fiber Arts Center

Description

An understanding of color is an exciting and powerful tool for all weavers. Part science and part intuition, the right combination of colors can turn an average weaving into a spectacular weaving. This 8-session class will focus on color theory, color terminology, value, and color proportion for both the warp and weft.

There will be reading, extensive color study homework and 3 weaving assignments.

Prerequisites for participants

• Required Materials: Color Play, second edition by Joen Wolfrom (make sure it is the second edition)
• 3-in-1 Color Tool (the third edition) by Joen Wolfrom.

These can be found at quilt stores or ordered online.
