60 minutes of lesson time at the 30-minute price! Min 2 students req for class to start.
Wednesdays: 5 pm to 6 pm
Small group: 4 students per group

In this highly interactive, no-pressure setting, students focus on creativity, performing, and having fun while learning the foundations of drumming! Beginner drummers will learn drum basics, cool and easy beats, rhythms, and timing, and will learn to play simple songs on the drums in no time! 

Students will:

• demonstrate an understanding of basic technique, some reading skills, musical vocabulary, and ear training.
• work independently and at their own pace as needed.
• learn an ensemble piece(s) that they can all play together.
• learn performance skills by playing in front of others with confidence.
• are motivated to practice at home so they can contribute to the group.
• receive plenty of opportunities for students to ask questions and engage with the instructor
• interact with peers to complete activities, play music games, and perform together!
• be introduced to concepts of drumming that are taught in an age-appropriate manner

Parents will:

• get 60 minute of lesson time at the price of 30-minute private lessons price
• have more time to run errands during class time

18 OR OVER
You must be 18 or over to agree to our terms. Parents/Guardians must be listed as primary and secondary contacts for any participant under the age of 18. Any student under 18 who does not have parental/guardian contact will not be accepted to camp.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Students will need to practice at home. Drum pads or a simple drum set will be required for home practice.

START DATE: New students begin classes on the first lesson of the month unless notified otherwise.

NO REFUND POLICY: We have a strict "No Refund" policy. Please review all terms prior to purchase.

FOUR-LESSON TUITION PLAN: Our 4-lesson monthly payment plan applies to (most) group classes only. Families pay for 4 lessons per month. All 4 lessons must be taken within the same month. Holidays and teacher vacations will be prorated. 

REGISTRATION FEE: The first time you register for a class with us, you will pay tuition for the first month of lessons PLUS an annual registration fee of $50 (PER HOUSEHOLD FAMILY). You will only pay the registration fee once per year. You can sign up for any future classes we offer, including music, voice, art, etc., without paying registration again, within the 12-month period. You are not enrolled if you do not select/pay the registration.

NO SHOWS (those who do not notify us in advance) FORFEIT THEIR LESSONS - No refunds or credits.

MINIMUM ENROLLMENT/ATTENDANCE: Group class may begin with a minimum enrollment of one student. However, should this occur, the class will function as a private one-on-one 30-minute class until a second student enrolls/attends, at which time the class will expand to 1 hour. At any time, should the class drop back down to a single student, the class will again revert back to the 30-minute private lesson. There will be no price reductions or credits.

RENEWS AT REGULAR MONTHLY RATE: There is no long-term contract, however, future lessons will be invoiced at a flat monthly rate and payment is due on the 1st of each month, whether or not the student attends the first lesson of the month or has makeup credits.

MAKEUPS: You must notify your instructor or the front office of your absence in advance to receive a makeup credit and be placed on the makeup list. NO SHOWS are not eligible for makeup. You may attend any group class that is taking place on a 5th week (where there is an available slot) no matter the day of the week/time or the instructor. Makeup credits are limited and expire.
