Description
Students will learn to make yarn on a hand spindle, an ancient tool that’s still in use. The combination of a spindle’s portability and its ability to make very fine and very thick yarns make it a viable choice for modern spinning.
This class is suitable both for people who have never spun before and for people with some spinning experience. It will cover several techniques and several spindle types. Instructor will provide spindles and fiber for use in the class.
*Some spindles will be available for sale to students who wish to continue spinning.
