AZ DPS 16-Hour ARMED SECURITY GUARD FIREARMS TRAINING Course
16-hour course - Day-1 8am to 5pm will be in the classroom; Day-2 8am to 5pm
Course topics include:
AZ DPS Armed Security Guard Firearms Training course meets and exceeds the Mandatory pre-assignment training requirements. This course is required and must be completed prior to submitting a armed security guard license application. This 16-hour course is designed to teach the novice armed security guard the basics of gun safety, marksmanship, maintenace and familiarization, as well as legal issues related to the use of deadly physical force. All training is conducted by an AZ DPS Firearms Security Guard Instructor.

Student will need to bring Duty belt with all required items lethal and non-lethal. 250 Rounds of ammunition and 50 rounds of duty ammunition.
Students will receive all paperwork needed to file for Guard Card License.
Students needing fingerprint card can have done at end of course at $35.00.
