Summer Art Adventures - Cruise Around The World - Ages 5-8
Embark on a thrilling creative art journey where each day is an exciting exploration of art from around the world! During this one-week voyage, we will explore diverse artistic works inspired by the unique styles of renowned artists like Piet Mondrian, Jackson Pollock, Katsushika Hokusai, and many more. From the bold geometric patterns of Mondrian to the dynamic splatter art of Pollock and the captivating landscapes in Japan, campers will immerse themselves in a rich tapestry of artistic inspiration. We'll sprinkle in some fascinating fun facts about the artists and their creations, adding an extra layer of discovery to our creative endeavors.
Summer Art Adventures are filled with fun and creative art projects. We only use the highest quality 2D and 3D mediums to give your child the best art experience. Our art instructors are graduates of the University of Michigan School of Art and Design and have studied abroad at SACI in Florence, Italy.
Our program runs from 9 am to 4 pm Monday-Friday. Please check your child in by 8:55 am. Pick up promptly at 4 pm.
Parking is located in the lot behind the studio and limited parking on Michigan Avenue at the front entrance to the studio.
Artists should bring a nut-free lunch, 2 snacks, and a refillable water bottle with a lid. First and last names should be on all personal belongings. Food may not be shared.
Artists should bring sunblock, sneakers, and sun hats for outside break time, weather permitting.
On the last day of the week parents are invited to the studio at 3 pm for an “art show.” This is a special time for artists to share their work with their parents, grandparents, siblings, etc., and an opportunity for you to speak to our instructors.
We welcome all aspiring artists of all ages and abilities. However, if your child requires additional assistance or needs individualized attention, please call the studio before you register. Thank you.

Eleanor said it was the best camp she’s ever been to, and she has attended many camps this summer! I only wish we would have signed up for more weeks. Can’t wait to get her back in the studio for more classes. She absolutely loved her week there.
Our child had a wonderful time in the “Cruise Around the World” art camp: such a fun concept that resulted in playful and great artwork. The teachers and staff are friendly, funny, and kind. “It was amazing!” our son beamed. Thank you for such an enjoyable and top-notch experience.
A great program that our kids truly enjoyed. They could not wait to return every day and make more art. The teachers and all staff are friendly, personable, and kind. The final day art show was a treat. Highly recommended.
