Get ready to set sail on an exciting adventure with Opti Learn-to-Sail! Join us for two weeks of non-stop fun and learning as you learn to sail the beautiful waters of Lake Saint Clair. This in-person event will take place at the Crescent Sail Yacht Club located on Lake Shore Drive in Grosse Pointe Farms.

This event is designed for students ages 8 - 12. Our knowledgeable instructors will guide you through the basics of sailing and help you improve your skills. With full-day sessions, you'll have plenty of time to practice and explore the waters.

This full-day class is for the beginning sailor with little or no individual sailing experience or the young junior sailor with some experience who's not yet ready for Optimist Green racing or does not want to race.

Requirements:

• No prior sailing experience needed.
• Must be comfortable around water and know how to swim.
• This class includes use of Opti Pram sailboats. Sailor weight should be less than 110 lbs; heavier/larger students should register for the 420 Learn-to-Sail Course instead.
