I Love Learning ASL

Come spend a fun evening with American Sign Language instructor Angela Ashworth learning the basics of ASL and essential signs for traveling and camping. By learning ASL you will be able to communicate directly with Deaf individuals fostering inclusivity and forming meaningful connections during your travels. ASL is the 3rd most used language in this country and is used among both the deaf and hearing worlds to increase communication and strengthen interpersonal relationship in children and adults. It's also a great workout for your brain & hands! No previous knowledge of ASL is required.

This event is open to guests staying at Talona Ridge and to the General Public. If you are not staying at the resort please check in at the Welcome Center upon arrival.

Refund Policy: A refund will be issued if you cancel by 6:00 p.m. April 12, 2024 less 10% for credit card and registration processing fees. Registrations canceled after April 12th will receive a credit towards an online class offered by Angela Ashworth. No Shows will not be refunded or offered a credit towards an online class.
