Compass Arts Artful Afternoons: World Travelers Week Two (ages 8-14)
Compass Arts Artful Afternoons: World Travelers Week Two
For campers ages 8 - 14 years old
M-F 1pm-4pm, July 22 to July 26, 2024
Led by Caty Therese and Sabrina Vilato
Take a trip without leaving Beacon. We will explore different countries and continents through art and games. Each day will focus on a different country with a look at the language, food, music, traditions, and culture that makes us all so interesting! Campers will create a passport and then collect stamps as they travel around the world with fun activities and exploration! Start the journey with a creative passport and then move around the world as we create a map collage of all the countries. We will create a flag for each country and learn art from places like Guatemala, Egypt, and Japan, making Worry dolls, Mancala, and Origami. Bienvenidos, Ahlan wa sahlan and Irasshaimase to a great week of camp!
