Compass Arts Artful Afternoons: Summer Snaps!
For campers ages 11 - 14 years old
M-F 1pm-4pm, July 29 to August 2, 2024
Led by Lesly Deschler-Canossi and Flynn Larsen

We look at images all the time, but how do we make photos that tell our OWN story? Summer Snaps is a week-long workshop for youth who are curious about photography and want to learn more about how to make great pictures. Students will explore composition, exposure, light painting, and visual storytelling. We will experiment with artificial and natural light, mirrors, windows, props, and the early photographic process of cyanotypes. All cameras are welcome, from iPhones, point & shoot to DSLRs.

We offer sliding scale pricing for folks who can't pay full price. To apply for sliding scale pricing use our sliding scale assistance form prior to registering. Please note that for summer camps we are unlikely to be able to accept a sliding scale request for more than one camp per family.
